Raquel Robles Eschbach joined Strauss & Hoyt, LLC in April 2025 as an associate
attorney. With nearly two decades of experience in the legal field, she brings a wealth of
knowledge and expertise to her practice.
Raquel’s career began as a prosecutor, where she honed her skills in litigation,
negotiation, and trial preparation. She later transitioned to private practice, focusing on
real estate, family law, criminal defense, and estate planning. Throughout her career,
Raquel has successfully negotiated hundreds of cases and has tried over 30 cases to
verdict, both before judges and juries. Her extensive legal experience is complemented by
exceptional research and negotiation abilities.
Raquel earned her B.A. in Psychology from Illinois State University before obtaining her
law degree from The John Marshall Law School. During law school, she was an active
member of Law Review and gained valuable hands-on experience as a 711 intern and law
clerk. After graduating with high honors, she began her legal career at the Lake County
State’s Attorney’s Office, where she developed a strong foundation in trial law.
Raquel is deeply committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for her clients. She
approaches every case with diligence and care, ensuring that her clients are informed and
involved throughout every stage of the legal process. Prior to joining Strauss & Hoyt,
LLC, Raquel was of Counsel at the Law Office of Judy K. Maldonado and served as
managing partner at Merit Law Group, Inc.
